    Are your fences secure?
We have goats available for your needs.

High Weed Mowing and Organic Fertilization Done By Animals (Sonoma and NorthBay Counties)

Nonprofit Goat Rescue of Sonoma County has an Emergency and needs 5-10 acres of pasture for 50 goats. We have to move all of our goats from their current pasture in Napa to another location, hopefully in or near Windsor. Our caretaker has to move from the property and our goats must leave with him.

We take in surrendered pet goats and adopt them out to good loving forever homes. Currently we have about 20 available for adoption. The adoption "fee" is 7 bales of alfalfa or the equivalent dollar amount as a credit on our veterinary account at UC Davis (530-752-0290) or at Larsen's Feed and Pet Supply in Cotati (707-795-4106). We do organic high weed mowing with these goats, providing your fencing is secure.

The property must be well fenced, have shelter of some type, have access to water, and would be safe for goats.

We are hoping for the pasture to be approx. 5 or 6 acres. We would like the goats to be able to have interaction with humans, especially kids! These goats are very social and very smart. They have been immunized. We want to keep them safe from predation, which is why we don't want to set them loose on a huge property.

They are currently out of county and we would like to have them in Sonoma County where we could visit & play with them more frequently. Their diet needs to be supplemented with alfalfa & alfalfa mixes, as the weeds don't have enough nutrition.

We can answer your questions and give you more info upon request.
