Dear people of Wacco;
It's the gimpy mother-daughter duo with a request.

My daughter has numerous medical needs that Medi-Cal won't cover. After much research I've found that the way to...

- receive donations,
- not have it jeopardize her SSI disability earnings and,
- pay out to assorted medical providers, equipment providers, pharmacies, etc

...is to set up a "Special Needs Trust."

Further, I've found that in order for it to pay out during the lifetime of the Trustee, it requires some slightly more complicated paperwork so nope, I can't use a DIY plan like Nolo's. It has to be drawn up by an attorney.

Of course, between her disability and mine, we can't afford to pay a lawyer.

I've tried DSLC and the various lawyer organizations. No luck.

So please, any attorney out there willing to do a little lawyering in return for poetry, a tarot reading, baked goods and/or fresh home-made pesto sauce?

Thanks, namaste, maholo, and a sante'.
