    Sonic.net has your back!

With all the recent privacy concerns, it's good to know that our local ISP, Sonic.net, comes out on top of The Electronic Frontier Foundations survey of who helps you protect your data from the government:

"...This year two companies received all six possible stars: Sonic.net and Twitter. We are extremely pleased to recognize the outstanding commitment each of these companies has made to public transparency around government access to user data...."

thanks for posting, barry. this is another great reason that we should all be using sonic. another major reason being what barry also mentions, that they are part of the local economy. and their technical support has always been really helpful to me, is open 7 days a week and never puts you on hold. call them today and set up your account. and then transfer all your bank accounts to a local bank or a public bank or credit union. and then start buying all your food from local businesses and farmers. there is absolutely no need, especially with all the great alternatives right in sebastopol, to buy your food from national chains that funnel their profits out of the county. and once community market, with their proposed deli, and spiral foods coop open in sebastopol all our food needs will be available from local businesses.
see you today at the farmers market.
