Volunteer Opportunities with the
School Garden Network of Sonoma County

Are you interested in learning about and supporting local school garden projects? Improving school food? Fostering garden-based learning?
Connecting kids with the natural world and where food comes from?

We are currently seeking passionate people who would like to join the School Garden Network of Sonoma County, now in our 10th year!

School Garden Network of Sonoma County (SGN) accomplishes most of its work through small committees. The amount of time you put in depends on the project.

We are also looking for a few more committed Board members to lend their passion and skills to the organization. Board members actively participate in creating and sustaining school garden projects.

Examples of ways to get involved include tabling at events, helping with fundraising, connecting with community partners and businesses, helping with workshops, doing a garden tour, collecting and maintaining our free resources, assisting with our website and Facebook, research, advocacy, and selling t-shirts!

The School Garden Network of Sonoma County is a successful grass roots organization, and a leader in the field of garden-based learning. We provide direct financial support, mentoring, workshops, and other innovative programs to local schools and youth programs.
