Thank you Miles, that was a brilliant article.

Yes, both Obama and Romney are servants of the 1 percent. While there are some differences between them, the sad truth is that they agree on far more issues than they disagree on.

And I agree with the author, it is now time to vote for the candidate who offers the best hope for our country, even if that candidate has no chance of winning this time.

I will be voting for the Green party candidate, now and into the future. We absolutely must break free from the so-called two party system, which has become merely two wings of the same corporate party.

Obama did some things right, but his list of failures and disappointments is far longer than his list of accomplishments. He is clearly a servant of the rich and will continue to follow their agenda.

Please, everyone, vote in accord with your conscience.

Michael,

We cannot break away from the two-party system by voting in the Green Party. Even if the Green Party were to win, the two-party system would still be in place.

In order to break away from the two-party system, we need Constitutional amendments. Simply voting in a 3rd party into power cannot accomplish the kind of reform you are talking about.

The two-party system needs to be replaced by Proportional Representation and a multi-party system.
