A recital of Gurdjieff's sacred music, Harmony of the East & West,
will be performed by pianist Michael Dale,

at the First Presbyterian Church of San Rafael, 1510 Fifth Ave., San Rafael.

A donation of $15 is requested. Please note that five-dollars of that may be used toward the purchase of CDs, award-winning DVDs, books and journals on the theme of self-transformation.

Michael Dale is a composer-improvisor and multi-instrumentalist residing in the San Francisco Bay Area. He performs with many jazz and classical groups including New Keys and Death of Cool. Recently he was featured on the recording, Sacred Music of the Eternal Present: Hymns and Prayers of G.I. Gurdjieff and Perseverance by the jazz group Immersion. He has composed for film and scored the award-winning short Milo's Wheels. He maintains a full studio of private students in the East Bay.
