    Good Bulletin Boards

I am interested in finding the good (physical) bulletin boards out there, particularly ones that are frequented by the progressive community. I imagine this will be a handy reference for many of us so please reply publicly and include any relevant comments. Thanks!

    Re: Good Bulletin Boards

Thanks for the Barking Dog Jayneb....didn't know about that one and I'm right around the corner from it.....

Sonoma Plaza does have one outside but I suspect as soon as Whole foods moves in it will be torn down..........

Whole Foods will put one up inside tho and those are pretty good......

    There's also a Whole Foods in Petaluma....ditto...

Elephant Pharmacy in San Rafael has a couple small but good ones

plus they have an onsite Chinese or Western Herbalist that you can get a free consultation with during the week between the hours of 5 and 7......just like the real ones in San Francisco. The personalized herbal formulas you can get only cost 30 per gram? oz? and are available with fresh herbs or granulated........Bumped me out of a serious cough I had for several weeks last winter..

The Petaluma Junior College.......off Ely? has bulletin boards up the yin/yang....and the Petaluma Market downtown has a small one...

Sometimes you can find space in the hallway of the McNear building by HeeBee Geebies/Maldonado's yoga/pilates......and the new Smoothie Shop right there by the Surf shop on Kentucky also has a pretty good one...

There's a few coffee shops along 4th st in San Rafael that have small but decent ones..........libraries, of course, have them for all not-for-profit postings....

Happy postings! don't forget to bring tape and tacks!

My Friend Joe's at Andy's Market
Whole Foods in right rear of store

    Re: Good Bulletin Boards

Sorry but, I found Andy's lacking, it is at the back entrance??? and Whole Paycheck; so cluttered... I am going to try Hard Core coffee, and don't forget Frizelle Enos, depending on subject matter.
    Sincerely, Deborah
