RE: Existing law in California allows all parents to exempt their children from "mandatory" vaccines for either personal or medical reasons. In the case of personal exemptions, parents simply must obtain a Personal Belief Exemption Form (PBEF) from their local health department's Immunization Program, or from their children's school, and submit it to the appropriate party in lieu of a proof of vaccination form (https://www.naturalnews.com).
Is There a Parental Right to Hurt a Child?
Any parent in California has the right to secure exemption for a child from state mandated vaccinations, and must keep a child home only in the event of an outbreak of the disease from which they are exempted. Wait a second! There is a dangerous flaw in logic here: once an outbreak occurs, it’s TOO LATE to protect the kids who contracted the disease, some of whom DID receive the vaccination. (it is not effective for 100% of children). It makes medical sense that children who are not vaccinated should stay away from everyone and live in a bubble. This, of course, would be impractical, illegal to deny him an education and downright cruel to the child, but not as cruel as withholding his right to protection from paralysis, deafness, sterility, death.
Some states do not have exemptions from vaccinations for personal belief, and some don’t even have permanent exemptions for medical reasons. They are not going to fool around with their citizens' safety. What’s the answer to parents who want to opt for California’s exemption from vaccinations on grounds of “personal belief”?
Look at what happened to Armando Rodriguez, who refused to take TB medication... he was arrested for violating TB control orders. Is there much difference between Armando and the mom who refuses to have her child vaccinated? I don’t think there is.
I believe that any parent who refuses to vaccinate his or her child against the common preventable diseases of polio, diphtheria, measles, mumps, rubella, polio, pertussis, smallpox, and Hepatitis B, should be arrested for child endangerment — their own and others. My god, we live in a country where parents are arrested for spanking their children! Anyone who won’t comply to vaccinate because of a fear of resulting autism needs to educate themselves in debunking this junk science.
Last September, ten people contracted polio in Xinjiang, China. Six of them were under the age of three. One died.
WHO issued a statement: "No matter how long a country has been polio-free, as long as global polio eradication has not yet been achieved, the risk for importation remains and constant vigilance is required."
Moms: you have no moral right to sentence children to this danger.
