Everyone is invited!

The San Geronimo Valley Disaster Council will be meeting on Monday Feb.
27th, 7:00 pm at the Woodacre Improvement Club.

The council has new coordinators, Brian McCarthy resident of Forest
Knolls and Mike Stephens of Lagunitas. Lets help them pump new energy
into Valley disaster preparedness.

Brian has emphasized the need for everyone to take the two hour Get
Ready Marin course. Bill Vierira 499-7681 of the Woodacre Fire Dept.
will teach groups of 6 to 10 folks or you can take the course on-line at
https://www.getreadymarin.org/training


C.E.R.T., Community Emergency Response Training, provides the
information and hands on experience for disaster service work. To Sign

The March 10th & 17th class will be at College of Marin, April will be
in San Rafael and May 12th & 19th will be in Nicasio.

Students can earn volunteer credits by pretending to be victims during
the mock disaster training portion of the class.
