Please help the City of Sebastopol, and every city and state across our country, to end the policy and funding for undeclared, wars of choice, not defense; by adding this issue to the resolution regarding Occupy Sebastopol, which the city will be voting on this Tue, 12/06/2011 - 6:00pm - 10:00pm.
Require your local, state and federal government, as well as, regional & national Occupy groups to endorse this as well.
Ending the funding for strike first foreign policies, which make us less safe at home, and a continued target abroad; as well as, the deep financial debt we incur each day these policies are not ended; is a greater priority than anything else.
Yes, there are many more very important issues the Occupy movement has brought to light; but this does not surpass the unending loss of human life done in our name, with our escalating debt.
We can stop it, just like we did with Viet Nam; if each Occupy, and each city, county and state; pass a strong resolution, standing for peace, with no use of military force; without the Constitutional requirement for a declaration of war, and only for the purposes of defense.
