Hey Community,

Occupy Sebastopol has been honored with the task of producing the Solidarity Sebastopol event that Jim Corbet has been putting on at the Sebastopol Plaza from noon - 3 on Saturdays.

We're looking for musicians, poets, comedians, and anyone who just wants to practice their free speech, to "mic check" with us.

With the Occupy Sebastopol PA system, we'll have an open mic, and we want the public to peacefully use it.

What's working on the local, national and international level; what's not working, and what can we do about it?

Bring us your passion and solutions; with your words and musical expressions; we only request that it's family friendly.

Have you got a group or service which adds to the quality of life here? Please come and share your bounty of good stuff.

Peter Tracy and other surprise special guests will be there.

We'll also have arts, crafts and activities for all ages. Make a sign with the message you want our community to see. Enhance the art of free speech with your creative flair.

Hope to see you, if not this weekend, then maybe the next.

We're also looking for affinity groups, and individuals to put on workshops with Occupy Sebastopol at others times as well.

Let's show the world how Sebastopol can Occupy with peace, and style, & fun. Here's a chance to celebrate our rights of free speech and assembly; making music, getting serious, as well as, sharing joy, connecting our hearts, and finding common ground.

We have a sign-up book at our Occupy Sebastopol information booth, (now temporarily near the cinema, until the plaza tree lighting event is over tonight), or you can contact me.

Patriotically Occupying Sebastopol with PEACE!,
