From Barbara Boxer:

I want you to know about a new tool for homeowners who need information or assistance with their home mortgages.

My new “Resources for Struggling Homeowners” web page, part of the “Constituent Services” section of my Senate website, can be found at https://boxer.senate.gov/en/services/homes.cfm.

The Homeowners page contains useful information and links to federal programs that assist people threatened with the loss of their home. It also includes links to the California Housing Finance Agency’s new “Keep Your Home California” program. Made possible by a $2 billion federal investment, this program helps low- and moderate-income families stay in their homes by providing temporary financial assistance for mortgage payments and preventing avoidable foreclosures.

In addition, my Homeowners page can help homeowners who want to report mortgage fraud or file a complaint with the regulator that oversees their lender if they believe the bank has not responded to their requests for mortgage assistance.

I hope that this new Homeowners web page will be helpful to you. For additional information about housing resources, visit my Housing web page at https://boxer.senate.gov/en/services/assistance/housing.cfm.
