Ground the Drones action at Beale Air Force Base

Join our growing collaborative movement to Ground the Drones for good, and encourage military personnel to become peace warriors.
CodePink, Peace Center of Nevada County, Veterans for Peace, Grandmothers Against War
and SF Quakers (AFSC) invite you to resist drone warfare at Beale AFB, just NE of Marysville.
We invite all other peace loving and democracy loving people to join us.

Morning and afternoon vigils and bannering (6:30-9:00 am and 3:30-5:15 pm), to encourage soldiers to resist drones and refuse to fight for U.S. Empire. We plan to have a monthly presence at Beale AFB, where soldiers control drones, thousands of miles from the battlefield.
Be the change you want to see: War is Over, if you want it!

In midday we will have a nature walk to rejuvenate and meet with the local peace activists in the area to plan and strategize for how we can sustain these monthly actions.

The U.S. is increasingly relying on the missile strikes by unmanned drones flying over Pakistani territory to kill people.
The U.S. launched more than 100 strikes this year, killing hundreds.
