    Don't just vote, Do something!

Congress is in danger of being turned over to Repubs including Tea Party Wackos (not Waccos). The New York Times' chief polling analyst just wrote, "If our forecasts turn out to be biased against Democrats by just 2 points overall, the party becomes about an even-money bet to hold the House." (And then they'd almost certainly keep the Senate, too.) Many of the races are VERY close and good Democratic turnout could prevent this.

MoveOn has incredible tools for helping do this - it all involves calling friendly people in swing races to get them to volunteer and vote. There are two ways you can help and even just a few calls at your own convenience will help.

    1) Call from home - they have an amazing online tool that makes it really easy:
Yes, I can call from home

    2) Attend a calling party where you can call with others.

PLEASE do one of these things. We live in the most progressive part of the country and it is really up to us to help. I have done some of this calling and it is really interesting to talk with sympathetic minds around the country.

There are only a few days to go. Let's not just gripe on Wednesday. DO SOMETHING!
