Hi there, (please forward widely and see my personal P.S note at the bottom of this)

I just sent a message to my representatives to let them know that I support the 200,000 people who marched in Washington, D.C. last Sunday. If you ad our little town of Santa Rosa that had 5000 marching here in CA with all the other little towns across the US, we probably had more like one million marching for reform across the US:

More than 200,000 rallied at the U.S. Capitol for real immigration reform– far more than expected. The stage was filled with civil rights heroes, Grammy-award-winning musicians, brave youth activists, and our leaders in Congress. But most importantly, the Capitol grounds were filled with Americans from all walks of life, immigrants and native born, families, workers, church goers and community groups. They were all there to tell Congress that this is the cause, and now is the time.

Would you join me and let Congress know they now have 200,000 good reasons to pass real immigration reform:

Thanks!

P.S. Just this last weekend, while the immigration march was going on, a family friend who's an immigrant from Congo, yet married to an American born husband for 15 years, was just abducted by ICE in front of their home in Modesto and taken from her husband and 4 YEAR OLD American born daughter! They were taken to another remote privately owned detention facility in Florence Arizona because of our broken immigration system. THIS IS way to familiar to me, almost exactly like Okili and my case last year!
