I want to place an order for wheat berries, and need others to order 2 more buckets with my friend & me to make the minimum order.
The cost is $40 per bucket including shipping.

I'm choosing wheat because it's got the longest shelf life of any grain - some sources say up to 20+ years. Here's the link:

SUPERPAIL™ Hard Red Winter Wheat

The calories in the bucket are roughly equivalent to the caloric requirements of 2 people for 2 weeks. The American Red Cross recommends everyone keep a 2-week supply of food for each household member. The possibility of earthquakes alone justifies this kind of preparedness.

The standard advice for storing emergency food is "store what you normally eat, & eat what you store". But then you're always eating old food. I'm going this route so I can just pack it away & more or less forget it.

Please contact me if you're interested or have questions.
Thanks,
Dave
