THE SANCTUARY OF PEACE CHILDREN’S GARDEN PROJECT:

We are hoping to start up another season of “giving” to children to enable them to have the tools that they need for planting their own wildlife habitat gardens and edible gardens. This year we plan on giving away the 900 organic seed packets including vegetables, herbs, and flowers to gardens that include children in the gardening process. We hope this will expand to more parents who want to garden with their children this year along with more schools and public gardens. We are looking forward to the day when we develop and open our own community garden in Forestville near the new downtown development. For those who are interested in donating or receiving necessary items for your gardening with children please contact us. We are ALWAYS in need of plant starts, topsoil, soil amendments, more organic seeds, and garden tools to give to gardens and the children who need them. We give away these supplies without charge.
