The Forestville Naturally Fun Faire And Farmer’s Market: APPLICATIONS ARE NOW AVAILABLE FOR LOCAL PRODUCE VENDORS, FOR NATURAL HEALTH PRACTITIONERS/PRODUCTS, AND FORFINE ARTISTS!

We are well into the process of becoming a Certified Farmers Market and the response to our proposed educational presentations and music have been incredible along with many inquiries pertaining to artists, natural health practitioners, and produce vendors. We are still set on starting on Wednesday May 24th at the site of the future: Forestville Downtown Village Square. We are grateful to the businesses that we have so far contacted and their interest in having the Farmers Market in Forestville. We are hoping for a mutually beneficial relatedness and have encouraged the businesses affected to have booths or to have their business hours extended until 7:30 PM that night so that they can receive the benefits of having more residents walking through town. We are especially grateful to Eloise Wagner, Manager of Rotten Robbie in Forestville for extending to the public the use of the gas station’s bathrooms for everyone during this event. We are also grateful to Fred’s liquor store for their interest and support of the market. Additionally, we are also grateful to Khysie Horn of The Quicksilver Mine Company, a fine art gallery which displays local Sonoma County artists, for her kind-hearted support of the market. Parking will be allowed along Hwy 116 close to the market if the vehicles are parked well off of the road so as to not interfere with the safety of all concerned. Please understand that all market goers will need to be respectful of any businesses that are open after 5 PM. We ask ahead of time that you will not park in open business’ customer parking spaces, especially not the Forestville Laundromat, Pharmacy, Bank of the West, Mosaic Restaurant, Ideal Hardware store and other businesses that potentially will be open. Since this is going to be a community event, we will ALL need to help to make it an ongoing success. There will be no smoking and no alcohol consumed within the marketplace. Thank you Forestville Chamber of Commerce as well for your wonderful suggestions that we have taken to heart! Contact us if you are interested in being involved either as a vendor or as a musician/natural health educator. Our market standards include supporting: local hand-made products, services, businesses, and locally grown produce. As always, a special endless thank you to Orrin Thiessen for his on-going support, generosity, and encouragement along the way!
