This is a rave review for the current version of Shakespeare's The Tempest at Main Street (aka Sonoma County Rep) in Sebastopol, a co-production with Independent Eye. Great, moving, funny and terrifically creative with life sixed "puppets" in all main roles save one, Prospero by Conrad Bishop whose vision the production is. "Puppets" doesn't do justice to inventive heads and sketched bodies skillfully controlled bt actor/manipulators who soon become visible representations of the other-worldly spirits who animate the characters. Two more weekends (I think). Check SOnoma County Rep for details. Bravo.
