    Body Talk

I'm looking for info from people who have experienced Body Talk sessions. This is a new healing modality I am interested in checking out, but would like to hear from people who have experienced it firsthand (not practitioners please). Thanks for taking the time to share!

    Re: Body Talk

Hi, I have the feeling I've responded to your request before, but it doesn't matter. Maybe more will be revealed this time.

I had the experience of receiving a series of Body Talk sessions. The practioner had a routine of asking certain questions of the body, while using "muscle testing". She spoke very softly, and I wasn't able to hear
most of what she was saying, except that I could hear her speak of certain
    organs, or lymph sites.

I knew that I had serious, very painful arthritis in my hip, and I had already
scheduled surgery when I was treated with Body Talk. I had been living with on going chronic pain and a painful relationship, and was open to anything that might give me some relief.

The first treatment brought so much sadness up from such a deep place in
me, that I broke down in uncontrollable crying. I hadn't cried for a long time, and the sadness that I'd been holding in my heart, overflowed as an energy release. My intention is to release all patterns that don't serve me.

After some of my early Body Talk treatments, I actually felt a release of pain, and was able to get up from the table easily, and also walked easily
when my normal pattern had become to limp with every step.

I'd have to say over all, Body Talk helped me on many levels: the physical,
mental, and emotional. The best part is the practioner's story and personal
experience with Body Talk facilitating her healing around Asthma.

I recommend it, but just know that it's not massage, only a bit of touch,
it's not usually an immediate shift and may take a day or two to feel a
shift in the mind, body or spirit......or all three!

Try it, and then tune in, and ask your body what it wants.

    Sandy

    Re: Body Talk

Thank you, Sandy, for describing your experience of Body Talk. It makes me want to look into it further. Many years ago, a friend did some muscle-testing on me, but at the time it seemed sort of contrived to me, and it left me with mixed feelings about the method. Maybe it would be different now. Is Body Talk something that comes out of a particular school, and do practitioners get certified in it?
