Solfest is cancelled, but no worry! The Monte Verde Festival is a Music, Art and Renewable Energy Festival from noon to 10pm at Monte Rio Amphitheater. Special presentation by Native American Musicans and a Native American vendor area, as well as lot's of other fun things including Solar/Turbine/Hydro demonstrations!! Anyone who is 24 or younger contact GSYC about more really great projects including Solar Installations in Africa, On Indian Reservations, Urban areas and free training classes!!! GSYC are volunteer coordinators for the Monte Verde Festival benefit to raise funds for our local Radio station THE BRIDGE and the American Indian Film Institute.
