    i think i saw one article that said CA medical marijuana dispensaries are already paying about $880 million via sales tax collection.

    it will take something more major to close the $15 billion gap that was described in Saturday's news.

    repealing Prop. 13 would help to close the budget gap, but would have some negative side effects. e.g. making it difficult for people on a limited income to pay their property tax.
