Well Trained Horses, a 501c.3 rescue, has horses that need permanent homes.
The horses that need immediate placement are "pasture pals". Little Boy, Caron, & Scarlett, you must have a horse, or take horses in pairs. (Horses are herd animals.) We will work with you if you want to learn more about horse care. All of our horses are current with all medical needs, and have been handled extensively. Most are horses we have tried to train and re-home, and are not ridable, or may only be ridden at the walk. We have room for volunteers, for people who would like to help save a horse from slaughter.
If you know someone who has pasture, has horses, please pass this on to them. In 15 years we have never sent a horse to slaughter, or utilized humane euthanasia. We need a placement for one horse this week to keep this record. There are many ways to help. thank you, on behalf of our four legged friends. We have ridable horses for sale as well.
