Hi Everybody,

If you've never experienced Second Life, here's your chance!

If you think you spend too much time in front of a computer, check out these people who spend too much time IN their computer!

It's a whole virtual world with probably millions of participants. This video introduction just barely scratches the surface. While this clip focused on the distance learning possibilities, there is also a booming economy in Second Life where you can buy virtual currency with real dollars and then participate in the virtual economy and make more virtual "dollars" and then cash out into real dollars! Every imaginable activity happens in Second Life, from sex to religion to business to family, etc.

I've know about SL for a while now, but I haven't ventured into it yet and I probably won't, given that my first life is all too cyber to start with (BTW, thanks to you folks, especially those of you I have met in person and a Wacco event or elsewhere, it is also has a nice real component too!). This video is the best introduction I've seen of it so far.

It's a mind blowing 7 minutes! And the video quality is amazing!
