Catherine Austin Fitts on the Tapeworm Economy - interview

On Nov. 10 Catherine Austin Fitts, former Wall Street investment banker and Assistant Secretary at HUD was interviewed for three hours on Coast to Coast AM, the country's most popular late night talk show, known for its investigation of unusual topics such as the paranormal, ETs and UFOs, and conspiracies.

This was the most entertaining interview I have yet heard with Catherine, as the host began the interview by asking her to talk about her invitation to have lunch with some aliens (of the ET type) that happened in Washington DC in the mid 90s. She also does her usual expose of government corruption in high places, market manipulation, the black budget, illegal drugs and Wall Street etc. and what the powers that be have planned for us. She is focusing a great deal on the sub-prime lending crisis and the ripple effects that it's having in the economy. She also discusses what can be done by individuals and communities to protect themselves. Catherine is great at making a topic that often produces yawns into a cloak and dagger who dunnit.

Catherine spent some time "hiding out" in west county while she was being harrased by "the dark side" and gave some presentations and workshops which some of you may have attended. The Sebastopol Economic Forum was founded as a result of one of those workshops, and still meets on alternative Fridays at Coffee Cats.
