"Reply Privately" sends a private email to the poster, and is not tracked or stored in this system.

You needn't include your email address when posting your items. The system sends private replies to the email address you supplied when registering.

Replying publicly to job postings can also make you look unprofessional & indiscreet, which won't help in today's tough job market.
