In the Harry Potter movie, HP and his friends are seen standing with their backs to a fire, warming themselves.
What is wrong with that image from a wizard's point of view???

Hmmm........well, it would all depend on whether the wizard had been reading a lot of Diana Wynne Jones' wizard novels or whether he has issues with women and demonizes them as potentially consuming witches who inhabit every fire.

A true wizard wouln't need his eyes to 'see' if evil is present and could therefore enjoy warming his rump by the goddess' fire without the hypervigillence.

fire to keep them warm. Even Tibetan Buddhist priest-in-training
are said to run about happily in the snow in their bare feet.
