unable to send replies or post

HI as of today everytime I try to send a reply to a web post I am told my "posting is too short, has to be 2 characters or more."....this after I've written at least 5 lines. Can you fix?
    Thanks!

Re: unable to send replies or post

I imagine you are entering your reply within the quoted text of the message you are replying to.

When you reply privately, the system defaults to quoting the original message. The quote is identified by a beginning {quote} tag and an ending {/quote} tag (using [ ] rather than { } ). So if you enter your message within the quote, the system thinks it's part of the quote and that you haven't entered any response in addition to the quote.

    Does that "fix" your problem?

Re: unable to send replies or post

Hi: The same thing has been happening to me, and I'm sure I'm doing my posting the same as always. I posted to the "truly challenging question..." thread on the 12th, got a posting confirmation, but never saw it in the Digest. So, when I tried posting it again just now, I got the "not enough characters" message.

Had a problem reposting the meditation info while you were away, too.

On the plus side, I seem to get the "website/ reply" buttons now...

Did you see my explanation below?

Quote I imagine you are entering your reply within the quoted text of the message you are replying to.

When you reply privately (or publicly), the system defaults to quoting the original message. The quote is identified by a beginning {quote} tag and an ending {/quote} tag (using [ ] rather than { } ). So if you enter your message within the quote, the system thinks it's part of the quote and that you haven't entered any response in addition to the quote.
Can you reproduce this problem? If so, please contact me privately and I'll check it out.
