Dear lovely local folks >>>~~~~~~>>

You are right NOT to trust the charities.
Here's what got posted to our private listserv
from The Farm Community's #1 peace outreach
communicator, he titled his email with one word,
UNBELIEVABLE:

"Go to FEMAS's website. Check where they call on us all to send in our
donations. First on the list is the Red Cross. Second is Second Harvest (a nice organization). Third is "Operation Blessing". That's Pat Robertson's group."

So of the public charities, send money/donations ONLY to
Second Harvest, from these three.

And MORE IMPORTANT ....The Farm founded
PLENTY (plenty.org) in 1971 I believe, and we
were the first people in Guatemala after the big
earthquake there. It's a 25 yr solid 501 (c) 3.

We are outfitting a schoolbus, and heading down
to help in New Orleans. We are also organizing
refugee transfers.

Go to website or call Lisa Wartinger (831) 484 - 5845
in Salinas area of California. She's the West Coast organizer
of PLENTY (Mission statement is, THERE IS PLENTY
for EVERYONE if it is shared.)
