Through early intervention, 1-5 days, they are able to avoid more stringent medicines, such as steroids, hospitalization, ventilators. More and more doctors are coming forward with this. the same happened in the AIDS epidemic which was a 6 month wait, when they had found medicines that intervened. Alot of this can be for the benefit of the doctors doing the research to gain prestige, titles, and money, as well as pharmaceutical companies cashing in on expensive vaccines and other medicines. Hydroxychloroquine is not expensive, people have used it in low doses for over 60 yrs
