Effective March Friday, March 13, 2020
SEBASTOPOL AREA SENIOR CENTER & The Legacy CLOSED thru March 31, 2020.
As someone who participates in our Senior Center, I am writing to you to let you know we will be closed through March. We want to protect you and everyone who uses our center from the Coronavirus and feel we must follow Governor Newsom’s recommendation that folks at risk not congregate in groups of 10 or more.
This is an incredibly difficult time for us and we regret not being able to continue our services, but feel that protecting the health of you, our volunteers and staff and especially our senior community is priority. Feel free to call if you have concerns, 707-829-2440. Someone will try to answer the phone or return your voicemail.
The Legacy will also be closed beginning tomorrow, March 13 through the end of March.
COUNCIL ON AGING BISTRO LUNCH
[Until we hear differently] Council on Aging will have boxed cold meals (sandwiches) available for pick up from 11:00-12:45 p.m.. Those who come to the senior center for their lunch have the option of picking up a boxed lunch each day from our lobby. The kitchen and dining room will be closed, as well as the rest of the senior center.
COUNCIL ON AGING MEALS ON WHEELS
[Until we hear differently] Those receiving the Meals on Wheels Service will continue to be served.
As you all know this is an evolving situation and we will be in touch when we know more.
Sincerely,
Linda Civitello
