    Colonizing Mars 2024

    Marcus House
    5 January 2020

Although it is a time of rest and holidays for so many, SpaceX has not been sitting around just taking a break. We have SpaceX Starship Stacking, the new Crew Dragon Animation, the upcoming Inflight Abort Test as well as the Starlink launch coming up. This year is estimated to be SpaceX’s busiest year so far and this month alone is going to be incredible. We also talk about some more starship updates with Elon Musk having recently been at Boca Chica with the engineering crew. Starlink's next mission is just about to fly, potentially with another two more Starlink missions in the first month of the year. Not only that Tesla has just had an incredible year as well. It is amazing to see how fast both the space launch industry and electric vehicle progress is being made. This year is already ramping up to be incredible.

Elon Musk is very confident that humans will colonize Mars in just four years, in the year 2024:

Why should humans be allowed to visit other planets when they don't know how to live on and care for their own?

It has been speculated that our urge to go to Mars is driven by our need to go home. Wow! Did I just say that?
