Sept. 17 "presidential" visit to Bay Area

I've heard a rumor that Trump will be in Atherton. I have not heard anything about protests, with the event only a week way.
    Does anyone know of any?
We can't let him "invade" the Bay Area and walk out with a smug grin on his face.

Yes- he's coming to a luncheon fundraiser - $2800 to be in the room- $5600 for the tables up front.

But good luck with any protest oppurtunities. Private event in the richest city in America....

Article in SF Chronicle... looks like the orange baby Trump balloon may fly over Atherton:

SFGate: A massive 'Baby Trump' balloon may fly over Atherton during Trump's Bay Area visit

And... I'll remind people- donations are a matter of public record - and can be found on the FEC's website. After Julian Castros brother? outed Trump supporters in his area numerous left leaning sites published step by step how to's to look up those who donated to any political candidate in your...or any... area.

Re: Sept. 17 "presidential" visit to Bay Area

This morning when I was reading through the news I saw an article (I believe it was at Vox ) that stated that even those paying big, big bucks for this event were not told where it was/ who was hosting it. Apparently all attendees had to meet at a parking lot in Palo Alto and be shuttled to/from the event. Which, in and of itself is kind of stunning if you think about it...

Two events were mentioned that led to this set up - one was the Secret Service and I guess a bit of a melee that ensued between Trump supporters/protesters at another fundraiser some time back. And the 2nd- the hit the fitness firm Soul Cycle? took after their CEO hosted a Trump benefit.

Apparently it was held at the home of Sun Microsystems co-founder Scott McNealy.

The baby Trump ballon did fly, and there were protesters.

The event was estimated to raise $3 million for Trump- with the remaining events in Beverly Hills and San Diego estimated to raise another $12 million
