Psychedelic Assisted Psychotherapy - with medicines such as ketamine, MDMA and psilocybin - is earning respect as a useful psychological practice for addressing issues such as PTSD, depression and end of life anxiety. While MDMA and psilocybin are still in the testing phase with the FDA with very promising data so far, ketamine assisted psychotherapy is currently available for treating depression and other ailments.

While some of these treatments are not yet legally available, many people are finding ways to work with these substances and the integration of these experience is a critical aspect of the process. The healing potential of psychedelic medicine use goes far beyond the medicine use. Research shows that greater benefit comes when the participant works ongoingly with the themes, memories, emotions and learnings that arose during the medicine session. This work is not unlike dream work where learning comes from reflecting on the images, themes and feelings in order to digest and grow from the experience.

This day long workshop is for people who want to creatively explore a psychedelic session. There is no medicine use at this workshop. The purpose is to work with material that was activated in a previous medicine session. Through an arts based process, participants will cultivate an attitude of reflection and inquiry as they are facilitated through a day long exploration.

You are welcome to work with current material or that from a session long ago.
