Sweet cat is still looking for new home!

I am posting this again, because we have not found a new home for her yet. We would be immensely grateful if you could spread the word within your community! It would break our hearts if we had to give her to the pound... ----------------------------------------------------------------------------

My family is moving to Germany and with a heavy heart we have decided to find a new home for our sweet cat Mila. As much as we would like to keep her -the move would be way too much for her.
Mila has been with us since 5 years, we adopted her from a life outside in snow country, so cannot tell exactly how old she is, but she seemed young when we first met her. She must have grown up in a house or gone through the system, because she was already neutered, but didn’t have a micro chip, which she now has.

Mila is a very gentle soul, loves to cuddle, likes to be close to her “pack”, and prefers a mellow household and life. When new people come over she often wanders off by herself, as she needs a bit of trust and familiarity to warm up, but once she trusts you, she enjoys being petted all the time and relating. We have been traveling quite a bit and it was always easy with her and the house sitters that lived in our home.
She wants to be the only pet in the household and doesn’t get along with cats who are in the same space. On the same property it is fine, we also have several other cats living on our property right now.
She is patient and kind to kids (we have a two year old) but will defend herself occasionally when being “poked” too harshly… so young kids are possible but I think she would prefer older or no kids.

She has had no health concerns since living with us.
She is an indoor/outdoor cat. In the beginning we didn’t have a litter box and that worked well. Now she likes to spend a little more time indoor, so we added one.

We would love to somehow stay in touch with her (we will truly miss her so much!) and maybe visit her when we are coming to California.
If you would like to spread this message with your friends, we would appreciate it.

If you are interested in adopting her, please get in touch. 707-570-6743 or [email protected]
