Don’t miss this talented young Brazilian American duo, whose music incorporates Bossa Nova to form their self-coined ‘Indie Nova’ genre. Accompanied by Alger on guitar, Monica da Silva sings in English, Portuguese, Spanish, and French. Her award-winning songs are featured in the Golden Globe Award winning movie 'Lady Bird', on the Putumayo World Music compilation 'Brazilian Beat', in The World Cup, and in the BBC One series 'The Replacement’. Come to our Summer cabaret and enjoy ‘the future of bossa nova with the face of youth today’!

$15 Adv/$20 at door. Fine refreshments include wine and beer. Wheelchair accessible. Art Gallery 3850 Doris Murphy Ct. Occidental.
This event benefits a non profit arts organization staffed by volunteers.
