This is a test. This is only a test. If it were more than a test, you would have been directed to the nearest air raid shelter. As it is, all you have to do is look at the playlist for next Friday night.

One thing you'll notice right away is a large selection of songs from the almost-20-year-old album Why? 2K. The album that commemorates the end of the Twentieth Century and the beginning of the 21st. For instance: The End of Everything by the Charlatans UK, Eve of Destruction by the Red Rockers, Billy Joel (of all people) with a song called Miami 2017 (Seen the Lights Go Out on Broadway) and more in the same vein.

As you listen to these magical melodies, you might bring to mind your own answer to the question: Where were you when the year changed? Remember the rumours that went around? The world would abruptly end; that one was the favorite. So...December 31, 1999, coming up on midnight, reaching midnight, passing midnight, becoming 2000 A.D. And the world didn't end after all. Or...Did It?
