Tiny house 'raising' volunteers

Tiny Houses for Sonoma County (formerly Tiny Houses for Humanity) seeks volunteer builders for our first family-sized tiny house build that is being hosted by Redwood Forest Friends Meeting (Quakers) at 1647 Guerneville Rd. Santa Rosa.

Tiny Houses for Sonoma County (THFSC), is a non-profit that is directly addressing our housing crisis. We can talk about the need for housing or we can do something about it! THFSC had raised funds for their first family sized Tiny Home, but they can't do it without some volunteers! If this speaks to you, and you want to have some fun volunteering to have an impact on addressing this issue, we would LOVE and appreciate your help.

Please contact our foreman, Mark Phillips, at *(805) 835-2921‬ or send an email to [email protected] if you are able volunteer your time Monday through Wednesday Aug. 27th-29th (or the occasional weekend). Volunteers needed ASAP to raise these walls and get this house dried in before rainy season! The push will be to get the walls raised early this coming week, but would be grateful to have volunteers at other times! This is such a good thing to do. Wish we were building hundreds of these but at least we're starting with a few. I'm going to volunteer to work on the house next week. Any more WACCOS joining in? Hope so.
