Sebastopol's Response to Fires

Santa Rosa’s city manager, Sean McGlynn, has said that the housing situation is expected to be so dire that up to 8,000 displaced residents will leave Sonoma County altogether.Santa Rosa and the County of Sonoma have made some emergency changes that increase access to housing. Shouldn't all Sonoma County communities be doing similar?

The City of Sebastopol will be discussing their response to the fires this Wednesday, November 1st at 6pm at the Sebastopol Center for the Arts. The meeting agenda/staff report at this link does not include any reference to housing, but since they are discussing the City's response to the fire I am told it would be an appropriate forum for making the suggestion that Sebastopol act to increase the availability of housing to support our neighbors and community members in this challenging time.

I'm going to suggest that they take proactive measures similar to what the County and City of Santa Rosa have taken I'm sure you could also email or contact the City Council members perspective between now and then if you would like. Their emails are pasted below-
