I've received several referralsfor Jason in Santa Rosa at 707 527-7124 who works from home, and specializes in Japanese makes, but probably does others too. I haven't needed to use his services, but will be soon when I get another Toyota. I want to have him check it out, since it's from a private party.

I use the shop on the corner of Lone Pine and 116 in the Hessel area.....Sonoma County Auto Repair. The shop is owned by Chris, a young Latino man whose house was spared from the fire but many of his neighboring houses were lost. I have oil changes and brakes, regular maintenance stuff done there and have always been more than satisfied with the customer care and auto work. If I have a larger unusual problem with my Prius I've gone to the dealer and so far it's been a recall so repair is free at the dealer.
I really like this shop and it's so close to my house here in the Hessel area.
