What's the best life lesson that you learned in a book or in a movie?

This is a very difficult question to answer, as far as picking one life lesson. I’ve learned so much from various movie themes, moments, and messages in my life.
But as times are tough and very divisive right now in the political atmosphere within my country (United States of America), I’ll focus on something that is more topical. Something that I feel we all should learn from.
The film is Star Wars: A New Hope.
And there are four specific life lessons that much of the country is learning right now. And if they aren’t, they certainly should.
