Yes, it will be challenging, but if people are warmer and not exposed to the elements, they might get along better than they do while "living together" unsheltered in encampments. And then again, it might be worse. But this is speculation. If you were homeless, what would you want?

I have recently become "homeless", but am sleeping on a friend's couch. There is no heat, or room in the frig/freezer for food, so I have to buy prepared meals each day. I fell down her stairs and sprained my ankle, which means I'm housebound. It's too risky to go out in this wet weather.

A friend has been kind enough to bring a couple of meals. I continue to look for a room to rent, and have increased my rental amount to $800. I appreciate the Wacco members who know my situation, and have expressed kind concern. Knowing that someone cares makes a difference.

I'm thankful to have shelter, and I know that a tent would make a big difference for many. Leaders will emerge in any group, and guide others for the good of all concerned.

    Re: Tent

Perhaps separate tents or better, warmer shelters, made of something like strawbale or . . . . .

seems like there needs to be land/space/ a lot
    where these could be contstructed

i sense many would choose not to stay in a communal situation that was violent or upsetting
they'd choose to brave the weather instead
    for some peace of mind

which is sometimes a reason folks choose to leave their homes

there are many many reasons and scenerio's
many of which i am not aware

it is a tough situation to remedy
    when help is offered
    it attracts many more
    not a bad thing
just a dilemna to solve, provide
takes many like-minded people to create what is needed, numbers wise, resources and land

we live in a world of 'exchange'
how to create also a give / receive system that is balanced

glad you are inside and with a friend~
