    Hi all,
Any suggestions on where I can get cost effective pictures for a passport?

    Many thanks!

I got mine at the post office when applying for my passport. It may have been a couple of bucks more than some other place, but it was no muss, no fuss, no gas!

You can also have a friend take your picture and print it at home or the drug store! See: https://travel.state.gov/passport/ge...first_830.html for more info. (I tried but gave up!)

The AIM Mail Center in Sebastopol's Redwood Market Place does them fast and cheap.

We got ours at the AAA office in Santa Rosa over by Farmer's Lane just off Bennett Valley Rd. It was only about $6.00 vs. $12.00 at the post office at the time a year or so ago. It was the cheapest we could find as we didn't have a way to print them ourselves.
