Is abortion immoral? Wikipedia says the following on abortion:

Abortion is the ending of pregnancy by removing a fetus or embryo from the womb before it can survive on its own.^{[note 1]} An abortion which occurs spontaneously is also known as a miscarriage. An abortion may be caused purposely and is then called an induced abortion. The word abortion is often used to mean only induced abortions. A similar procedure after the fetus can possibly survive on its own is known by a number of names including "late termination of pregnancy",^[1] "postviability abortion",^[2] "late term abortion",^[3] or simply "abortion".
