Marble the Long Haired TORTIE Needs a NEW Home.

Hello everyone,

Marble, the "owl-eyed" Tortie will be up for adoption at the Sonoma Humane Society off of Hwy 12.

She was adopted eight months ago, and now surrendered once more, as her human must make plans to leave the country to care for an unexpectedly ill parent.

Marble is calm, happy, incredibly smart, soulful, and easy on the house; a true lap cat. She does NOT jump on counters. She uses a cardboard scratch platform; NOT furniture or rugs. She uses her litter-box perfectly. She LOVES to be brushed; belly and all. Very affectionate and simply looking for a non chaotic household; child free, where she can be an indoor-outdoor cat and lounge close to home, or live as an indoor cat in a larger home with windows, fresh air and a cat tree. p.s Marble has also lived with another cat, her brother, who was adopted as well. So she may potentially be a suitable fit with another cat. But needs to be tested for this first.

If you're looking to adopt a cat, please have a visit with Marble and spend a good amount of time with her in alone, (one to one) in the adoption room. Give her a chance, as she may be shy from the newness of the shelter, but she is quite the opposite at an "in home" environment.

Marble a soulful genius and smart. She likes to look into your eyes, is sweetly mellow, and is a true lap cat and desk warmer while working at your computer. She can take "short-paw" for all of your dictation needs. Look closely and Marble looks like an OWL. It's like having a cat AND an owl in one. Bliss!
