    Have you eaten crickets or products made with cricket flour? I ate my first protein bar.

    A friend is developing a new food endeavor using crickets, as a high protein replacement for meat.

    I was shopping at Sprouts yesterday, and during my scan of the protein bar section, I discovered a bar made with cricket powder. There were several flavors, but I got the Thai bar with coconut, ginger, and lime, no soy and dairy free. 8 gm of protein. Chapul is the brand name. Very pricey at $3, but on sale for $2.50. I had to try it, and it was delicious!

    Anyway I haven't seen any posts on this, so I was curious.
