advice please: remove dog hair from car carpeting.

Anyone know how to remove dog hair (short) from floor carpeting in car? I've tried vacuum, roller, and shipping tape...the hair is all still there. If I have to choose between clean carpets and happy dogs, I'll always choose happy dogs, but I'd love to have both if possible, thanks.

There is a small suction powered beater bar that fits on my shop vac.
Maybe I could loan it to you.
I may have an extra one you could buy.

When I had a Salvation Army imitation oriental carpet, I could NOT vacuum the dog hair out of it; when I told a friend that I couldn't understand why, since I could vacuum the hair easily out of a real one. He said "that's the difference between a $20 rug and a $220 one.

What I did to get the hair out of the other one was get down on the floor with a hair "pick" and laboriously comb it out...and I soon gave it back to the Salvation Army....

There's a grooming tool with fat rubber teeth, used for horses. I think its called a rubber curry. It works really well getting hair off things. Also used a "furminator" which could help unless the fabric is loosely woven and can catch on the very fine teeth it uses. Good luck. Its not impossible.
