    "Pardon Me For Staring”

    "Pardon Me For Staring”

When I go outdoors, I stare a lot.
    Pardon me, for staring at:
The trees, the flowers, or the Bees,
or the dead leaves on the ground.
I stare at the old grapevines
and the new fruits of Nature.
I stare at the blue sky, or the Sun
and at the orbiting planets just for fun.
I stare at every bird that flies,
and at old airplanes making noise up in the sky.
I stare at mooing cows and neighing horses,
and at the Quail family that scurries on by,
and at the Turkeys that go gobble-gobble-gobble.
    Gobble-gobble-gobble, Thanksgiving is coming soon.
I stare at the soft amber fields or the rolling valleys,
and the green grasses on the hills and the rocks in the mountains.
I stare at the Moon, the stars and I stare into the darkness far beyond the stars.
I stare at the irregular shapes of clouds, and rain as it bounces off the ground.
I stare at snowy Winter nights and twinkling Christmas lights.
I stare at all these beautiful scenes and creatures of Nature.
I stare at them because it burns these memories of the times,
Life and Nature permanently into my heart, soul and mind.
So, Pardon me Honey, if I stare at YOU.
I’m just soaking in the beauty of your
naturally amazing and Divinely designed proportions too.
