Need help finding good broadband provider for high speed internet

    Location:  Santa Rosa
I have been living in a house with wireless and a Smart Meter and have felt lousy since I moved here.

I am now moving out, and need to be able to use my computer and have high speed internet, but do not want wireless. I need to have fast enough service to livestream, and watch video.

Does anyone have good info to share about affordable broadband or DSL providers? (not sure if these are the same thing?).
Anyone have any recommendations? Can't afford to spend much.

Planning to get a landline through AT&T to take advantage of their Lifeline discount, but don't know if it makes sense just to get my high speed internet through them as well? Any other programs out there that give discounts for seniors or low income?

I know there are people on WACCO who know alot about EMF and microwave sensitivity - and folks who are living without wireless and still need to use the internet - so I figure this would be a good place to ask!

    Any help/advice/suggestions greatly appreciated.

    Thanks in advance,
    Joanna
