Would anyone know what would cause all of the snails along one wall of my home to climb the wall and then die? It's only happening along one wall and I do not use pesticides.
So Long and Thanks for All the Fish!

I looked this up, and didn't find much except this:
- this question/answer (https://answers.yahoo.com/question/i...4184147AAJGw91) from Yahoo says that they climb walls to spread a scent to warn other snails about chemical infection - before dying.

Thank you, Shandi ! ...
What's strange is that they climb in broad daylight, when they're usually hiding from the sun, as well as at night ... they die mostly at night after fully extending their bodies as if trying to escape their shells ... the environment is not dry at night so that they would get stuck on the wall, as someone else suggested ... also, the babies are climbing the wall, some of them less then a 1/4" in size, and I've never seen them before this year, in fact I've never seen them ... ever ....
I sit on the other side of this wall when I'm home ...
